if i do decide to go carbed with some patriot heads, and a decent cam what cfm carb would i want to go with and would i want a dual or single plane intake?

Weiand Action Plus (#8124, not the other one)
Edelbrock Performer RPM
Edelbrock Performer RPM Airgap

for a carb you want something between a Holley 570 Street Avenger and a Barry Grant 625 Road Demon with vacuum secondaries if you plan on driving this on the street.

i saw the 190cc one but i thought i also so an srticle on 185cc or something. isnt that head kinda big for a 302?

they are 185cc, and for a mild build they are a little big - but they would give you room to "grow" with your build and even on a completely stock motor its not like your going to loose power
