Default puck style racing clutch's any good?

Im looking for a good clutch for my car thats about 300rwhp plus a 100 shot. I am going to be running this at the track quite often but alsodrive it around town afew days a week. My dad ran puck style clutch in his 12 second galaxie and says it was the only clutch that would hold up and grab hard but to him being streetable means it drives and thats about it. I know these chatter but just how bad do they? I want a good clutch but dont want to spend more then $200 and I had a king cobra and it was a pos!
Are these clutch's any good for a no name clutch? or should I just go with a spec stage 1 or centerforce

for a street strip car I wouldn't reccommend a stage three puck clutch....you don't really need it with those power levels..heck with about 340 rwhp and a 100 shot I have a KC clutch and it hasn't failed me yet!!!

How come you always have to be *** to everyone who was just asking a simplequestion? But anyways I ended up forking up the cash and bought a spec stage 2.

why am I always an ***, when people are being retarded... hrmmm I wonder

you want a good clutch, but you dont want to spend the money... thats like buying a honda and expecting nascar performance.
You have to give, to get. And the sooner the majority of this forum figures that out... the sooner I can stop being a dick to presumptuous little ****tards like yourself
