the only problem i see is valve clearence.....185's =2.02 valve's f-cam is .512/.512 right? if you do get afr's get the high rev
stud style....spring package is good for the cam that i wanted .552/.565 228/234 cam 112 lobe...

then pull it.....it will be alot easier then....are u ?????????? the high revs?? they are better,and you won't be sorry later if you want a larger cam pedestal is only good for .540 lift

No when you said stud style, whats that? Do you mean the AFR studs wont fit into the block?

Do you have a picture after you put the valve covers on?

no,no i was talking about rocker style don't get pedestal style mount....7/16 vs 3/8 is the stud diff..3/8 is better/stronger.

dude, you can use your stock pistons, just get someone that knows what they are doing to flycut them with the block in the car, i wouldnt pull the motor for that project and i would just use the stock block for now and get a good short block when you need it. My buddy had a 94 gt built all to hell but the rotating assembly was stock- it had like 277,000 miles on it when he wrecked it and totaled the car due to drunk driving. That car was his pride and joy for many years and it was all gone in a few seconds from alcohol- that blows dont it

Yeah I agree man about the alchole thing, you at home? if so go on aim dude.


But about the pistons, I think it would just be easier to get new pistons and rings anyways, I think mine are shot, burns a little oil.
