I'm new to the mustang world, and i have searched this site and couldn't find a thing on this. I just wanted to know what i need to do a 5.0 swap? and also if i need to switch the sub-frame?

Try searching again. A 5.0 swap on a notch/hatch will give u the same info as a 5.0 swap in a convertible. No you do not have to change ur subframe.

You'll need a lot of stuff... go buy a wrecked one and having a donor car is your best bet!! that's what I did when I did my 2.3 to 5.0 swap bought a rolled 85gt and swapped it into my 92 lx as 85 was carbed that's what I went with = alot quicker swap and no wire harness to swap over...so decide what you want carb'ed or efi and that'll dictate the donor car to buy!!!..trust me you'll save in the long run after I finished my swap and sold all the usable stuff off the donor car I was into the swap a total of 300 dollars and that included the offset cost of the donor car
