heres wut i say(not that i didnt tell you this already)

try what rhs is saying to do... when it doesnt work(or hell maybe it will, but i really doubt it) get up with them, let them know whats up... and make them come up with a solution... make them think its a customer car, and ur pressed for time... or its your daily...a little sence of urgency might help

i think what u were saying is gonna be what u have to end up doing, get the intake filled some

wow thats amazing. Is the problem basically the port in the gasket is too big and overhangs to the outside of the block? Maybe check out some other gaskets that have a smaller coolant port in them, even tho the angle just looks way off.
the port on the INTAKE is too big, and overhangs off the head.. so there is no pressure on that area of the NEW gasket, which fits the head perfectly.

why the **** couldnt RHS have made their damn heads right!

I have 1262's now.. but the problem is that i dont need the port tp be larger... I need the intake side to be smaller.. im afraid its not going to seal properly because the intake literally hangs off the head
Damn, I have never heard of anyone having this problem before. The intake literally hangs past the head? I would be completely baffled too. Wierd.
