Default Smoke after intake install

Well i just finished putting my upper and lower intake back on. I started the car up, and either it wasn't smokeing at first, or i just didn't notice it at first. There is white smoke comming out of both tailpipes and It is not the egr spacer. I just can't believe that it could be a bad seal on my lower intake, I did everything so perfectly and followed the tourqe spec to a tee.

Could it be anything else?

White Smoke is burning coolant. Did you use any kind of gasket sealer when installing the Lower intake to head gaskets? those coolant passages run very close to the intake ports and if not installed correctly, you will be sucking in antifreeze.

How bad is it smoking? I would run it a little and see if it gets better, and watch for coolant loss.

justgot back, I took it out to get some gas (I was very low)and had my dad follow me to see how much it was smoking. At first It smoked all the time, then after I got gas it only smoked when it was at idle, and by the time we turned around to go home it stopped smoking completely, I let it idle for five minutes in my driveway and no smoke at all. I hope it stays that way!!

when it was smoking it didn't smell like coolant, thats why I was so curious.

I'm gonna drive the car to school tomorrow so we will see

thanks for the replys.
