Had a check engine flashing on my 90 gt 5.0. Went to autozone and dude read code and stated left side running lean. So I bought the LS O2 sensor and installed it. I did not reset the codes by disconnecting the battery. The light still comes on while driving. Is this normal or do I have some other problem? If I reset it... should it stop or should it have stopped blinking on when I replaced the sensor?

ive got a windstar and the samething happened but when code was read the light went out for a little while til i replaced the o2 sensor

 

As stated I replaced the sensor and it is still blinking.
Do I have to reset it again to stop it or should it stop on its own?

 

you need to reset the computer

 

This happened to me and it was and exhaust leak.
