Hey guys, i got my edelbrock performer heads shaved 5 thousandths .005 just to clean up the surface and make sure the surface was perfectly flat. How much will this increase my compression and what will be the new cc measurment of the combustion chamber? The heads had 60cc combustion chambers before they were shaved.

it probably wont make any diffrence, i was just curious. I cant wait til Friday when the head install is complete. I will probably go LS1 hunting, I am hoping those heads will give me the top end pulling power I was looking for!

i can kill Ls1's on bottom end but not on top end, them basta*ds pull their guts out on top end, gotta hand it to Chevy on the LS1's- they will scream!!! IF I can shut my friends mouth, he has a 2000 Z28, I will feel a lot better. Plus I want to get in the 7's at the track (1/8th mile of course)
