a ground is a ground!! I bridged all my gauge grounds into one common ground on the pilliar post and it works well and is hidden....scuff the paint up to get a good connection

find a switch source from the fuse box with a tester and like all the powers and grounds to gather to come up with 2 wires one ground and one power than ground out anywhere and get ur power from the fuse box, and if ur that bad just open ur fuse box and get ur power from ur sterio. and than if ur even that bad take the ground and power from the back of ur deck if you have an aftermarket. hope this helps

thats fine do that but how you get the power from the fuse box you get a fuse splice from the autoparts store. or you getto it and just shuve it in the hole and use the fuse to pin it in place.

really depending on what guages you have you may have to ground the sender near the sender so theres the same resistence in the line or you will have a floting guage.
