Steeda Tri-ax opinions
Alright, im in the market for a good aftermarket short throw shifter. I have heard a lot of good things about this one and a lot say that it is better than the Pro 5.0 shifter. I like the fact that the Steeda has the shortest throw of the aftermarket shifters and it puts the **** closer to your body. I also love the fact that it basically shifts into 3rd for you even though pretty much all aftermarket shifters to that. lol. What are your opinions?

Go with the B&M pro ripper or ripper... They are both very good and reliable shifters... You can't go wrong with B&M, i have heard nothing but good things about the company and their shifters....

I have the Hurst, which I love, but it's almost impossible to find ***** for b/c it has a differant thread than all the rest. I've heard the steeda is a great shifter and I'm pretty sure it has the same threads as stock, so you'll have a huge choice in shift *****.

Love my steeda tri-ax, but now I've got myself a new tranny. So gonna try out this hurst shifter it came with, or was it a B&M?
Bah The tri-ax handle does have stock threads tho, so wide variety in shift **** too.
But if you have lots of cash to blow, get an MGW.
They're shifter is supposed to be the best out there, shortest throw and adjustable to like any position to make it that much more comfortable to you!

I also have a tri-ax shifter, I haven't tried it yet, but the one that was on my car was hurst, but the ball socket pivot thing was really worn.
I think the tri ax feels better, but I have only driven it for about a foot or 2 as its in my garage for the winter.
