i'm (next summer) most likely gonna end up getting the Trick Flow kit..just easier, everything is there. but i want to use the BBK SSI intake (partly for looks), will it run well with the trickflow heads and cam?
thanks guys

RE: H/C/I Combos
Man I have not heard a single good thing about the SSI intake manifolds. The top end kits are made to work together, changing one of their parts may result in loss of power. I'd take a trickflow manifold over the bbk any day though.

That intake manifold looks AMAZING, but i've heard for the money its not worth it, stick with the whole trick flow setup, its made to work together for a reason. If your car is show only then that bbk would be sick.

yeah money won't be much of a concern for me, if i'm gonna do it, i'm gonna do it right, and get everything necessary. but the trick flow kit says it only pulls up to 5500? mine pulls higher than that right now..so the trickflow intake manifold is better than the BBK SSI? because i obviosuly want it to all look good, but not at the sacrifice for performance

RE: H/C/I Combos
haven't taken it to the track yet. bought it in july, need to put in killswitch before i can run it. track is probably closed now for winter (im in NJ). rwhp would be 300ish, 1/4 times high 12s. but again, it's my DD so i can't have too wild of a cam. no nitrous, i don't want that. budget will be 2500ish
was thinknig about boring it to a 306 as well
