I got my car back from getting my edelbrock performer heads installed, it made a big diffrence by the way, but I have a problem. Every now and then the car just loses power and feels like it is on a rev limiter or something, it misses and sputters really bad, but after a while it goes back to normal. It kinda feels like its either loaded up on fuel or isnt getting enough. I have adjusted the timing and fuel pressure, the fuel pressure is on like 38 psi. The guy that installed the heads told me it could be either my MSD box going bad or the stator in the distributor or the ignition module may be going bad. I am not sure, could it be the coil. Like I said- it just does it out of the blue at weird times and then goes back to normal after a while. It didnt do this until after the head install. I am finially content with the car's performance if I could just fix this damn missing crap. Has anyone ever had a similar problem? please help guys []

I have the same problem, someone said something about sparkplug wires arcing? My wires looked all burned up, but no physical damage on them.

i got the same problem here.......it's a foxbody thing i guess?

theres nothing wrong with my wires, i dont know wtf is wrong with it but its driving me crazy

does it do it mostly when taking off from a stop sign?? then clears up after 1500 rpm?

i'm thinking i caked up my o2's again..

what do you have your spark plugs gaped at?

that was happening to me but it was because i was dumping way to much fuel into my car. i had #30 on an untuned sd car.

me or him?..afr told me to start with .44 or is that .044,anyways mine does it with/without the box

its bc your spark plugs are gaped to small
they should be at least .05 but since you have MSD i gapped mine at .054 and it works great
