Default blinkers

hey guys i got a 90gt i picked up, but the blinkers dont work. i replaced the flasher and the fuses, but nothing. my hazards work fine, i checked the pigtail that goes to the hazards and everything in there is fine. i had a spair turn signial switch assembly and i plugged it up but nothing so im gonna get a new one today any other suggestions?

check your light bulbs, if one is out the flasher wont work. happened to me

You know the blinker and hazards have two seperate flashers, one for each, make sure you changed the correct flasher for the blinker and not the one for the hazards.

Check your grounds and bulbs would be the next thing.

bulbs are new im gonna throw a new switch in today guess ill check grounds to, i had this problem on my 89gt it was one of the wires in the pigtail behind the hazards switch it would jiggle out and my blinkers wouldnt work and they they would, but i checked the pigtail and its good

I have not had your problem yet on my 87 other than the flasher going out, g/l and hopefully you will get it figured out or get another answer to your issue.

I dont know what your deal was, but these systems are wired up in a parallel circuit, not a series-parallel circuit. So , even if one bulb blows, the other will still operate normally, and at normal speed.
