Where is a/c reservoir?
Wow....
Anyway,
It's illegal to just top off any A/C system in the US. If a shop finds that it's low, they are required by law to fix the system before recharging it, and they don't have to give you any of the refridgerant back they take out to test it after you decide it's too much to fix. If you're not certified nor have the equipment to service A/C systems, you can't work on them...legally.

Yah, and legally I can't be driving on the road with the off-road h-pipe that I have installed.
So... anyone know where the reservoir is? Some cars have a small glass port and you can tell if it's low if you run the car and turn on the a/c and you see it bubbling. I wonder if it's the same with the Mustang...

There is no sight glass that I am aware of.If the system is R12 you have to be certified to work on it.If it is 134a you can do it all your self and it is not illegal. You can purchase 134a in the auto parts store for pretty cheap.
Since summer is coming alot of shops will be running specials here in FLA. a/c performance test for free. Most of the time it is free with an oil change.

The reservoir tank is on the passanger side of the engine compartment, near the hood hinge. If you still can't find it, just fallow the upper AC line from the compressor.
There is no window (or anything of the kind) on the reservoir tank though.

That's an accumulator, not a reservior tank. The only way to check how much you have in the system is to hook up an A/C machine and do a recovery.

If the car has not bin updated it is a R-12 sytem , to convert to 134-A it is olny a quick oil change and a new accumulator / dryer (thats the thing next to the hood hinge and heater core) . The sight glass I think is olny on the old mopars I think but not on the Fords . never hedre of the reservoir do you mean the condencer it's in front of the rad .
if you do this job your self you will havto go 134-A . the kit is fairly cheep . the accumulator / dryer should have a sticker on it how mutch feraon you will need to fill the system . NOTE once you oppen the lines you need a new accumulator / dryer , you may also need a new o-ring kit if the freaon is leeking out it is prolbely from a bad o-ring . the tool to check the system is called a manafold gauge . it ha 3 hoses and 2 round gauges at the top. the lines from the tool hook up to frig lines on the car by scradder valves , thare is a high side and low side and the other line on the tool hooks up to the bottle . not a hard job just read the gauge
This job cost at a shop what you are going to spend on the frig, tools , material , and the book with the specks . S if you don't plan on doing at least 3 a year just have it done at a shop it will end up coasting the same
134-A is 100% OTC LEGAL , if your car has R-12 you hafto get it recoverd by a shop with the right equment , the more than likely wont charg you to just recover thats what I always do ( wink- wink)
