does an 85 gt come with an 8.8 rear end or a 7.5? i personally thought it had an 8.8 but someone told me 85's had 7.5's how can i check this?

u think the 7.5 will hold up to350-400 hp or should i swap it out cuz thats the power im planning on making

I've heard it's kind of hit and miss with the 7.5's. Some people get along fine, others have them explode under normal use. If i were you, i'd just swap it for a used 8.8 (especially with 350-400 hp).
