Lifter hold down torque

Is there a torque spec for the two bolts the spider that holds the lifters down.

If you find one let me know because I've looked everywhere and can't come up with one.

When I put mine in, I use a drop of medium strength Loctite and snug them up to about 180 inch lbs. or 15 ft. lbs.

are you talking about the actual bolt that goes into the middle of the lifter on pedistal mount rockers? if so, i believe the torque specs are from 15 to 20 foot pounds. im leaning more toward 15lbs though.

No, he's talking about these bolts and this "spider"...


It holds the lifter guides in place...

+1, who needs torque specs? (seriously, on stuff like that you just tighten 'er up)
