Broken wire connector, need help
One of the connectors that gets pluged into the back of the cigarett lighter to give power is broken. Does anyone know where i could buy a new one? i know i could go to the bone yard but its cold as hell out.

what I have done before is removed the factory one and gone down to the local parts store and bought a universal one that has universal make your own connections with crimp on connectors and rewired it with new connections = total cost of 5-7 dollars

thanks for that link, they only have one for a 95, i have a 94 but it should work right? ford didnt change anything that small in between years did they?

i think walmart sells the cig lighters.. they usually come with the correct connection and a length of wire..
so get that take the connection you need, get a crimp connector or solder it and you're good to go

yea wallmart sells them, i bought an xm radio and didnt want to see the plug sitting in the lighter all the time, so i unhooked it, and hooked up a new one and kept it under the console..

walmart sounds good il go look tomorrow, and dime i realy like that idea, im installing a gps and im going to mount in in an empty slot in mycenter counsleand make a face plat around it so it looks right, im probly gunna hide the wire in the counsel some place now. did you hide yours under the shift bezle or where?
