cold air intake

RE: cold air intake
yea i had a hard time putting the filter on too, i had to put one arm up there and try to find it blind, since i couldnt see it, then i had to some how tighten the brace around it which was a bitch to do with one hand, so i taped it in place and all was good. Theres deffinitaly more satisfaction in doing a install yourself though, but i can see why you would take it to the dealership.
As to answer your question lol, mine made a noise for the first couple hours but went away, it was like a loud wining noise or whistle but it didnt last too long.

yeah i called the ford dealer and talked to their performance guy and he said that the noise was normal especially with howcold it is outside right now...drove it around for a little bit today and it seems like the noise is getting somewhat quieter
