RE: valvetrain / cam help
what I'd do since both the cams carry the same specs and require near identical open and closed pressures is use the f-cam springs cause it will insure no machining is needed and you'll need the matching retainers and locks.....the only difference between the two cams is the lobe seperation-= LSA......the cam you want and what dimebag bought will be more speed density friendly and have a better idle quality...f-cam needs to be used with mass air car

RE: valvetrain / cam help
i wanna go single spring. and my car is an 89 so it is mass air.
should i just go w/ the f cam cuz it is cheaper then? or will i be happier w/ the comp?

RE: valvetrain / cam help
Go to Thumper of Orange Park and email Mike for a "drop-in" kit of springs/retainers/locks that will work with the Comp Cam. They are single with damper, and will not require any mods to the heads.
