Default RE: Tuning???

I went with the old svo epec tuner for my car its super easy to use but you need a laptop to tune it I would run the car then change the tune then run the car change the tune....etc

you can really increase the performance with some kind of tuner!!!!!!

if you run nitrous or a sc you can pull some timing out of the advance and change your A/F ratio and if you upgrade injectors you can mess with the cold start so you dont have a hard time starting you can just do way more with a tuner in my opinion....than you can with a custom 1 time chip.

when I first started messing with the tuner I went with a stock tune and was running 14.60 at the end of the night I ran a 13.97 not touching anything but the laptop hooked up to the epec...

Get it tuned

Shop around...I got mine tuned for $200 (i already had the SCT Chip worth about $200) and it was a completely different car...ran much stronger...there are tuners around NH and MA that have deals for like $400-500 with chip and tune....

I'm outside of Philly and think a tune is in the $500 range, based on the pricing I've heard.

I'm getting mine tuned on Friday, but no chip.

Will do and I'm hoping high 400's, but who knows.

I'm told the block can handle more boost the way it's set up, but for now I'll be happy with what I got.

I've spent WAY too much $ already.

The wife unit is counting and regarding the trans I picked, I just thought the 500 was more than I'd ever need. It wasn't themoney, because the difference between $1800 and $1900 or whatever it was, isn't that big a deal.

BTW-I just heard the guy who did my engine swap is going to be on Pinks.

Find out what you could get the tune for and if it's more than $500, save your bread.
