i am going to upgrade my ignition coil and i was wondering what to get it says stock voltage is 38,000 i am looking at a hypertech coil that gives 53,000v and the mallory,accel,and msd coils vary in the 40,000 to 48,000v range is the higher voltage of the hypertech coil better???

 

or is it to hight of a voltage for a stock ignition?

 

i would use the mallory

peak voltage means squat imo

 

you need a good ignition box to complement the coil....stock ignition = designed for stock coil
