5.0 carburated and emissions
Ive been thinking about what to do about the lack of power in my 2.3 and have narrowed it down to a 2.3t swap or a 5.0 swap. For the 5.oh i was wondering if i was to convert it to carburation instead of efi how hard will it be to get the bad boy to pass emissions? Anyone have experience with this?
And the reason i ask is that I would like this to be as easy to work on and the least complicated possible. Thanks for any imput

RE: 5.0 carburated and emissions
Depending on what state you are in you may be able to do this without a hitch or with a few caveats.
For Example - In CA you cannot change a FI car to carbuerated unless the FRAME of the car is from a carbed year. Body doesn't matter.
In other states you may be able to do the swap but are still liable to pass emission standards set for the year of car you are working on.
For Example, if you have a 1990 Mustang and put a carb on it, you still have to pass the same levels of emissions as a 1990 Mustang.
