If you have fuel and spark, there's only 1 more component. Run a compression check. I would check all eight cyl's to be safe.

If it came out shiney smelling like gas it sounds like it wasn't firing... Try replacing the plug. Maybe the porcilin (sp?) is cracked

lol. when i read the title i thought it was gonna be a low power problem
^^ hahahaha. so did i. i was going to say something like that. with TF stuff all you need to look at is what summit did with their SN mustang and youll never touch a TF kit again.

Trickflow kits can make some good budget power.

I'd check for spark at the plug boot. Just cause there is spark at th cap doesnt mean its not getting lost along the wire to the plug.

I was shocked at summits results also after all those bolt ons, i was expecting atleast 350hp but I believe those were true hp readings rather than b/s us like the top end kits they advertise say 350hp tested on a 306 i think.

When horsepower numbers are posted, make sure you know if they are talking about engine horsepower (like the Trickflow Kit is advertising), or horsepower at the wheels.

Trickflow kits can get 300 rwhp.

ALSO if you read carefully i believe those numbers are from a 306 engine not a stock shortblock.
