Default Plug Wire Sets

I need to get some new plug wires, and a distributor cap/rotor. Right now its got motorcraft wires and im assuming distributor, Im gonna get a MSD cap/rotor but should i get the motorcraft wires, or will the autolite wires work just as fine? im not really running the car hard or anything, just driving it daily.
Also what kinda of difference will putting these on make in gas mileage and the idle?

The autolight will work with the MSD cap.

I don't know what the Autolites cost, but at about $40, the Ford Racing wire kits are a pretty good buy.

Im running the MSD super conductor wires on my car. They are a little pricy at $89 but they are well worth it. You put the ends on them, which can be a hassle, but you get to make them whatever length you want. They also have one of the lowest resistance ratings of any wire so they will last a long time too.

The MSD also has bendable spark ends to keep them off your headers.
