Default SN-95 rear end

I have a 87 coupe. I want 5-lug disc all around and I'm considering puttinga usedrear end on my car. Should I go with a SN-95 rear? Advantages\Disadvantages? Let me know...Thanks.

I believe the rear is the same, but the Axles are slightly longer. Just get new rear 5 lug axles and the mounting plate's to put on the rear brakes. Are you getting a kit to do the convertion or piecing it?

I wasn't sure what i was going to do. Is there a kit that I can put together with my stock '87 8.8 rear end instead of getting a SN-95?

94-95 axles were the same lengths as the fox's, 96 up are 1/4 inch longer i believe. there is a kit that you can buy but it's up over the 1k mark. All you need is the axles, calipers, rotors, e brake cables, dust plates, and mounting plates. I bought my complete kit for 300$ but it was a lucky find. You can piece it together if you can't afford an expensive kit, or you can go the whole rear end route from a 94-95 stang.
