I have a stock 1991 5.0 LX. There is nothing done to this thing at all. I have a few ideas to giving it some serious power but I would like some ideas from you guys. One thing i definately want is a Kenne Bell supercharger everything else can be decided on. I would like to make upwards of 450HP. Something where I will be able to abuse everyday and not just a weekend thing. Any Ideas? I'm new to this game.

Start with gears. 3.55's or 3/73's is its a 5 speed. 4.11's if its a auto.

Full exhaust, heads, headers, cam, vortech S-trim blower, fuel injectors, MAF, big fuel pump, dyno tune. That will get you there if you crank the boost up high enough.

With all this ur gonna wanna look at a drivetrain and suspension revamp. U should read all about the transmission in that car, the AOD, that u can. Cause 450rwhp won't do much if ur first good lauch the tranny ****s the bed. lol I'm building almost the same car(mines a '90 lx 5.0, auto) but i'm not buildin the engine up as much on mine as I am exhaust and drivetrain. SO if you have any questions about the stock trans in that car and what to do, just check some of my threads.

You will need suspension to get that power to the wheels.

Suspension, gears, and full exhaust is where I would start

I swear to god anytime anyone asks what gears they should put in the car somebody sais 4.11's. WTF people, you are giving new 5.0ers bad info.
