UPR Triple Hook Problem

UPR Triple Hook Problem
I just installed the UPR triple hook quadrant and adjustable cable. Even if it is in the third position, the cable is too loose. I adjusted it down at the trans about half way. I don't see that there is enough adjustment to usethe third hook much less the first. I do not have the firewall adjuster...an ideas??

Id say get a firewall adjuster. Ive got that on my 93 LX. Ive got the jamb nuts on the cable about half way up the rod (and Im able to run the cover) and Im able to adjust the clutch.

I pulled the clutch fork all the way back towards the back of the trans, and that removed some slack, but I am betting I am going to run into problems putting the cover back on. Maybe I will purchase the firewall adjuster...
