Default 1994 5.0 cast or forged pistons.

Hello every body. Some one hear locally is selling a 1994 5.0 motor and five spd with supposedly only 1500 miles on both. I know the 93 was cast pistons but im not sure about the 94. Also the 94 should bolt right in to a 93 or will I run into issues. Thanks allot.

'94 is hyper-whatever pistons as well. The 94 should mostly bolt in, but the accessories are slightly different and the intake manifold has an elbow cast in that the Fox's didn't have.

They are not cast pistons, they are hypereutectic, and the 93-95 cars all had them.

It is a Borg-Warner World class T-5, and I believe the bell housings are slightly different in the SN cars than the Fox cars, If it is going in a fox, use the fox bell housing.. Also the tranny is slightly different in the SN cars as well. Probably best to find a T5 from a fox. It would bolt up to any 289-351W.

Believe me, I went from the Fox crowd, to the now SN crowd, and the SN has so much little chit that is different than the fox it's unbelieveable. [&:]
