What would be my best choice of gears for the streets?

 

4.30's, but its not my dd, Is your car an auto or stick, general rule of thumb is 4.10's for an auto, and 3.73's for a stick

 

Depends what you u want to do..... Different people have different tastes. Personally, I have 4.30's in my daily driver, but want to switch to 3.73's. I'm doin 80mph at about 2800 rpm. The 4.30's are WAY too much gear for my E-303 cam. First gear is useless, second is where my car pulls the hardest. If I do a freeway run, I have to drop to about 45-50mph to go down into 3rd. I also have a brad new set of 4.10's if u are interested.

 

i have a fox 351w,t-5,8.8 rear.i live in a somewhat small town with alot of stop lights..and ricers...i need gears that will give me a great launch.also to get anywhere around here i have to go to knoxville and thats 25 mins of interstate.
