Default 4 to 5 lug conversion

i have an 89 gt convertible and i was wondering if i could take the the front and rear struts out(which are 5 lug) of a 94 -04 stangs and bolt it right up to mine? please asnwer quickly! thanks

not the strut only but like the whole brake assembly, the lug bearings or w/e they are called, springs.. yada yada..

i think what hes trying to say, is if he can take a whole control arm spindle assembly off a 5 lug car, im assuming an sn94-95, and use the origanal strut of the 94-95 car. correct me if im wrong.

if he is just trying to do a four to five lug conversion wouldnt it just be easier and probably cheaper to buy the conversion kit from like 50resto

Yes but you have to pull it off of a SN94-95 mustang. You would have to take almost the whole assembly.

There was an article about it in MM&FF about a few years back that did this exact thing. Don't remember the issue. Just remember I think it had the 7up car the cover
