new clutch questions

RE: new clutch questions
Never heard of it, don't beat on it for a couple hundred miles.
The first time I did my clutch in my 65, I roll out the shop and procede to drive around and see how it feels. Then I dumped it and smoke the living $hit out of it. Freakin noob. Good thing it was a cheap Duralast from Autozone and had a liftetime warranty. Put about 500 miles on it before u go beating on it.

IMO Luk RepSets are some of the best DD clutches you can get (smooth engagement and long life and won't destroy the flywheel and easy pedal effort) Im sure the Golds should also be good, but I've never used the Gold or know anyone with one.
The Luk would also be a much much better alternative to some of the stuff floating around.
