Mixing gas's

RE: Mixing gas's
If you try to make a high octane content fuel and your starting with a high volume of low octane fuel then you will need to add a lot of high octane fuel.
say 2 gal 93 octane your trying to get 105+ octane out of it, your going to need about6 more gal of 110 to meet that or more. so thats 8gal of fuel. at6.1 lb thats48 lb
say 7.8 gal of 93 thats exactly 1/2 tank in a fox. and you want a 105+octane yet again. you will need that other 7.8 gal of fuel tank space or more to get the ratio your looking for. and at a full tank of gas thats 95.16 lb.
So dont mix fuel. unless your startin with very little fuel in your tank.

Thanks for the info Tims!! Adder, White... relax fellas. i didnt do anything wrong yet thats why im asking. Like i said ive never dealt with a engine that needed that kind of gas. As for the price the only time ive gotten a price was at some of the places in Guam where i was last stationed. SO im stoked that it is half what i thought it would be. that means i can drive it around at least some and not completely wreck my wallet.
