Default Mixing gas's

OK im looking at a car with 13.5:1 its a 351 with big probe pistons and a trickflow set up H/I. i have heard of people mixing 110 octane and 93 pump gas. is it worth it or is it just dumb.

Go ahead and blow a hole in your piston because your too cheap to buy the right fuel.

you'd have to mix more 110 with 93 to the point where it may not be worth it...but if it's got aluminum heads you'll have a slight advantage and with .200 dome pistons and 58 cc heads I was at 11 to 1 on 93 octane all day long and when I ran NOS I mixed 105 with it..so you have to be careful at that ratio you'll be at..may not be worth the gamble

Its possible that the compression is lower. so it may not even be an issue. i dont have the exact numbers of the pistons and heads. I would think it would take some real deck hight lowering and huge domes to get that high. thats just what ive been told about the car. I know it has been done and i just wanted to ask because ive never had a car that required that kind of fuel.

.....as for the smart *** comment....

forgive me donald trump... if you can put 16-17 dollar a gallon fuel in a stock tank then allow me to be the first to shake your hand.

Only when I race, I mix about 3-4 gallons of 116 w/ the lil bit that's left in the tank. I't's around 6 bux a gallon. Never any issues.

dont mix fuels. If you have very little 93 in your tank and put 110 in then you should be ok. but do not try to mix half a tank of 93 with some 110 or higher to get a good octane. you just gona blow something up.
