speed ometer not wrking!!

Default speed ometer not wrking!!
i have a 91 gt... speed ometer went out while drivng... lookd at all fuses they were good!! got any ideas?? thanks

Be more specific. The speedo doesn't work or the light for it went out. The speedo is not powered by a fuse.

the speed ometer doesn't do anything... my revs wrk... but i have no speed...

the cable runs from theleft rear of the tail shaft of the tranny up to the speedo head unit in the dash... the drive gear isin the left in the tailshaft unit and speedocable plugs into it....a small bolt and retainer holds the drive unit in
