Default Electrical problems

My car has been acting up on me. Having a hard time figuring it out.

Right now I think the electrical system has a lot of noise or something that is
feeding back into my computer and sensor and whacking everything out.

Grounds are better than good.
System maintains volts with-in 1 volt at all times and charges properly

It has also gone thru 3 alternators in the last 2 years. They just quit working
One went up in huge cloud of smoke pouring out the hood [&:]

Is there some kind of voltage regulator somewhere behind dash ?

On last test drive I was data-logging and noticed on plot that volt noise went
up a lot when I turned the lights on

Problem is not consistent and nothing obivious.

PLEASE HELP !!!!!
