i dont have it yet but im going with the hurst line loc because they have an install kit just for mustangs.
so it shouldnt be too hard, my friend has a drag car with dual line locs and said it only took about an hour to hook them up.

I also have the hurst rjoll control, their install kits are not good, the lines are impossible to reflare if you need to shorten the lines.
the line kept on splitting, might have been a bad batch of line, but overall I like the hurst although it is the only one i have tried though

I have the hurst line lock too. I have it wired to my horn, when my switch is off the horn works the line lock doesn't, when the switch is on line lock works horn doesn't.

You just pump the brakes and hold the line lock button
(in my case the horn) and do your burn out or stage at the lights etc.

Install was not that much fun, plus I hate bleeding the brake lines.

But IMO worth it!

Mine works great....Made my own lines with flares and wired it to a direct button....Line locks are a bit tricky but are very good when installed and wired corectly.

would line locks make my AOD launch better?

im trying to find a better way to launch, then dumping another bucket of cash at the tranny.........

for instance could i line lock the car, rev the car, then launch it?

im not sure how line locks work

Line lock is generally not used on the line. At least I don't use it.

ok i see, its more of a way to save your brakes, then to launch.

i thought that ppl reved there car, and relesed the line lock and they went flying....

isent it used in more powerful cars to keep them from rollin on the line though? how would that work?
