can you guys describe what this spout looks like? my dad didnt belive me about the spout thing and we just moved the distrubutor around. it defently did something because it started to ping and detonate. the car seemed to be much slower. i need all the info i can get on this so i can tell him what needs to be done being i know nothing about these motors. we have a timing light to use as well. all we did today was losen the 1/2 nut below the distributor and turn the distribtor a little. we made a mark where it was stock so we know where to start. i know we advanced it to much but where do you look to see how many degrees youve moved it, the crank pulley?

the spout is a dead end plug it is located behind the airbox but infront of the strut tower. it will be on the harness that plugs into the airbox. It will be colored grey. Your ignition module is also there.

ok thanks ill have to look at it tommorow. my car has had all the wireing hacked up so i wouldnt be suprized if that was missing.
