Default Need help, what is this, its a vac line, where does it go?

the picture is of the front of the intake manifold, I plugged it with a tube and bolt but I want to know where this is supposed to run too and if I should just keep it plugged or not, thanks!

It looks like what you've plug goes to the Charcoal Cannister.


The Charcoal Cannister is attached to the frame rail on the passenger side.

omg thank you, awsome pics, got another question, if i took off my EGR system, can i just cap this or Do I need to tube this guy back to its home?

there is no point in taking out the egr system. everyone thinks its gunna free up some hp but it wont. all the egr does is while cruising it recirculates exhaust gas to lower combustion chamber temps to reduce NOX coming from the tail pipes. trust me leave the egr in

egr actually will help you...IMO.. I'd leave it..it'll help out to lower cumbustion chamber temps by quenching the cylinder temps..helpful if compression is raised

ok but, should I leave the canister valve on my upper intake capped or should I reconnect it?
