Hi everyone, i have a 1988 5.0 LX, i just bought the car from some guy off the streets, either way i cant figure out the problem to it yet but everytime i punch the gas full throttle the car just kicks like if its chocking itself. Anyone have any idea what it could be!?

well thats actually the only problem with it...i know who the guy is now... i met him at a gas station lol as funny as it is and i asked him how much he wanted for the car and i bought it off him right then and there and he told me thats the problem it had....i already checked the history on it and its good....im thinkin its either the fuel filter or the pump but im not 100% sure

no when u floor it it kicks like if its choking and wants to take off but it wont

check the ignition system, all of it, go thru each component
