Off road H-pipe
i just got my new hpipe and want to put it on and my dad says that i need to have it on a lift to get to the header bolts to undo the old hpipe. how would i get to the header bolts for the hpipe without needing a lift. i think i just need to have jack stands to do it but my dad thinks i need a lift. thanks [/align]

RE: Off road H-pipe
easiest way (other than a lift) is the front on ramps, and the rears on jackstands, as hi as you can get it.
very very easy , but expect to have trouble w/ the header to h-pipe bolts.....they sometimes seem to be welded and take hours to get off. air tools help...but not much room to work with.
if you do get them off w/out cutting...do yourself a favor and use some anti-seize on them for the reinstall. also...the the o2's might get broken on the way out too, so expect to replace them.

ha... Ive done it parked halfway in the street half in the driveway, only able to fit one arm underneath at a time... Its not that bad at all. If you have access to a lift, though, use it because not only will it be easier, but you can check out other things too
