Default timming question

PRO50SC

How To: Properly stab your distributorok i went by how he was doing when i line up the mark on the block and dis. and slide it in
i can not turn it back to that other mark he says is the 10 degree mark i only make it half way before my vacuum advance hits my water neck...

89 302 stealth maniflod carb motor what do i do

you may need to turn the oil pump driveshaft a little with a 1/4 inch socket and drive so it'll drop right in

it worked for me i will try what you said about pump shaft also on the ajustment on the pedistal rollor rockers i have im setting the preload is it a half turn to full turn max because im in the middle of shimming them right now it seems that im shimmimg the exhaust and not the intake

i get about a 1turn if not a hair more with the intake and 1/2 to 3/4 with the exhaust

ok what about this when i start it then shut it off then come back to start it i turn the key to the on position i here a puff like some gas is igniting the car does have a electric fuel pump do i need a regulator
