Default Can you drill through fiberglass hood?
Just want to know if i will have any problems drilling through my fiberglass hood to put hood pins on? It wont crack will it?. Thanks in advance.

put a piece of masking tape over the x marks the spot and drill a small pilot hole then the size you need

If I remember some of my training right you need a specific type of drill bit to do it so it won't pull the fibers. Also a filler/seal to prevent moist from getting in there and causing it to disbond. Hope it helps.

I drilled into my stock hood to install hood shocks with no problems. Gotta do it to my R hood next...
