Default SN95 questions

I'm new to the 5.0 gang and to this forum, read my newb post if you'd like.I have a few questions. I just got a 94 5.0 vert and would like to know what are the best things to do to them initially? What are some helpful mods to save me trouble later on down the line? My plans in the futureare to go forced induction and put in a T-5. Iknow a hell of a lot aboutforced induction, specifically turbos so nothing is needed there.I've never owned a 5.0 beforebut have had a moddedTerminator. Another thing is that I'veseen a lot of fox body 5.0's that aremodded running around all over but don't see to many 94/95's, is there a reason for this?Is there anything I should know about with this year. All help is appreciated and thanks.

Daniel

wow..u had a termi n came back to a sn 50...hm..alright lol...thats cool cuz i love 5.0s ..but would take a termi anyday lol...anyway...the computer in the Sn's is kinda picky when it comes to cams..sometimes u can get away with any cam but if u want good idle quality then a steeda 19 cam is specifially designed for our computers...its whats goin in mine...other than that..to run the different intake manifolds ..u'll need a 45* adapter elbow to run them...other than that..its pretty much same as the fox 50...oh.."hyper" pistons too..only up to the 92s had forged..congrats on the buy btw..

Well it wasn't by choice really. It was totaled in an accident not too long after I got it. I was hit on the freeway and went into a wall

Thanks for the help though, what do you mean to run different manifolds? Is it a good idea to change mine out and what kind of heads would you reccomend?

Ya you should swap out the stock intake manifold because it and the heads are like a bottle neck and take most the power away, there are many different intakes you can run for different set ups, but if ya got the money then a good set of heads would be AFR 165s for NA and AFR 185s for forced induction.

wow termi to sn95 ur gonna be disapointed. there arnt may 94/95's on the road becuase they were only made two years. want to do the math for u? i seem to have a hard on for turbos thats great but keep ur eyes open 5.0's respond great to any type of FI. Also ur gonna wanna do more than a H/C/I + turbo, on a stock bottom end and stock block ur only going to be slightly above termii bolt on level so go ahead and build the **** outta this car.

Cool, I'm not really looking to make a lot of power, just enough to not be embarrased by turbo 4's(SRT-4's, EVO's, WRX's, etc...) If I come anywhere near the power of a stock Termi I'll be more than happy. I picked this car up for a hell of a deal. I wasn't planning on buyingaMustang unless if it was another Cobra but I couldn't pass this one up.I have my Suby if I want to make power and go fast. What kinda of power could I expect by doing the H/C/I with stock bottom end?

done right there is no reason with on a mustang dyno you cant make 315 rwhp. this will inculde some of the basic bolt ons as UD pullies 70mm tb, MAF, CAI, ect. I wasnt aware you were just looking for some bang for your buck compared to something to compare with the termi
