Im looking into building a 347 stroker for my stang and was just wundering what it might cost, just the motor all built and able to also handel about 9 psi and be reliable for a DD. I know i will have to upgrade the fule system and trany but just trying to get an estemet on what it would cost me.

If you build a good 347 you won't need 9psi.

Mine was $3624 and change. just the short block. Low compression 347, and it will be boosted someday (not supercharged, hehe). Add in all the other upgrades and crap you'll be were im at, about $15,000+ not including cost of car and lost o labor. It'll be sweet though!!

Any boosted app, you should get a Dart or Man O War.


They will outlast the car and sell the moment you wanna get rid of it.

That is what i was planing on beause i have heard good things about the dart block. about how much do they run?

Where are you located i have a never installed 347 with a prosystems carb and a big lunati cam. basically the engine in my sig i just never got around to installing. I have a 351 now. im looking to let it go for 3000. complete let me know if you want specs

Wow i like the setup if i had the money now i would probaby get it but im just looking to start geting parts for it over the next 6 months and then work on it next winter with my uncle, plus i want to stay EFI, but thanks for letting me know and good luck selling it.
