Ok, i bought a 1984 5.0 and i swapped the motor out for one out of an 89 gt. so now i have the H.O. 302. It has an edelbrock performer intake, hollie 4 barrel carb (pretty sure it is 550 cfm), gt40p heads, a c-4 transmission(with a torque converter, not sure the size but its not much over stock), and it has a set of underdrive pulleys. It also has 3:73 gears in the rear with posi and a set of mickey thompson drag radials.i have a plastic clutch fan, a set of stainless shorty headers that i am putting on. Any suggestions on what are good mods for what i have? Whats a good cam and intake for it? Would it do any justice to put 1.7 rockers on and will they work with the heads that i have?(i got for free).

Also i was wondering if anyone would know about how quick a gen 1 awd talon with a 16g turbo, and about 1000 in other parts(including boring the engine).

If the cam is stock, the 1.7 rockers will gain you a few extra hp.

well idk aboutht e rockers, but as for the talon..pretty quick, hed eat u outta the whole unless ur radials are heated up..and its alot of boost, so idk man, i think you cand eff hang with him, dont try from too high a roll casue once his boost comes in i have a feeling he will be gone, get some dig races...maybe he will blow his clutch
