ive been told ls1's have a similar rod ratio like the 347's.. they go 100k miles all the time

If this is true, I'll be pulling my motor back out and shipping it back to my engine builder... then taking him to small claims court for lieing to me!

I just ordered a 331 from CHP. Will post pics up, it looks sexy. I bought some AFR 185s from them as well gave me a decent deal. Either way I went with a custom cam & spring kit cost me 600 buck shipped for the both. I sugest Ed Curtis, he is rad.

I prefer a FULL CNC cylinder head, like AFRs and the lighter valvetrain (8mm - 1.290" D springs) than the competition.

AFR 185 is my suggestion.

I would suggest my 185 TW head for the 331, and if you get a piston for the TW head you can handle any cam up to .650" lift.
