Will it hurt the car to run it without the Quad shocks for a little while?

Yeah, I'm running 275/60/15's on 8" wheels and its rubbing the quad on the RR. Im gonna go down to 255/60/15.
Just wondering if it will hurt it until I get new tires.

I removed my quad shocks 8 yrs ago when I went with the 5 lug conversion and I've never had a problem not having them on.
