i think that is just with a freshly painted car, not one that has been painted for as long as yours has, ill ask my uncle tomorrow, i know when we get done painting a car, we use the rubbing compound and then polish the car, not wax it, if nobody can tell your for sure tonight i will have everything you need to know tomorrow buddy

Yes 87 is correct, thats on fresh paint and its usually 1 month before waxing. I have a friend who is a paint detailing god, this guy takes a $100 paint job and makes it look like a $6000 paint job. He is stingy with technique and won't show anyone anything but when I hang out I secretly watch him lol ( NO not in a gay way lol). I picked up a few things from him and working in body shops, plus other shops as well. Black paint is a bitch to get right, I wet sanded my whole Avenger, the machine buffed it, and used Meguires Swirl X on it before it looked good again.
