Default I got longtubes
Got some longtubes, paint is chipped off a little and rustedin some places. I want to sandblast them and repaint them. Is there a way to seal the paint on them? So that it wont peel off or rust? Thanks

you can try having them powder coated with high temp powder coating but good luck on keeping headers looking purdy!!!!

ceramacoat is the best...but pricey

they will rust plain and simple...the heat is so extreme....just nothing you can do (other than ceramacoat)

wire brush it and take hi temp bbq spray can.

not as good as ceremic but itll get the job done for the time being

I've used VHT on a few sets of headers and it holds up pretty good.
