i have stock 1989 gtmustang with 355s on a stock aod with sub frame connectors eibach lowering springs koni struts chamber correction plates k&n air filter in the stock box,mac equal length headers no cats h-pipe and flow masters. i would like to know if i add 24 lbs injectors, a c&l 76 mm true flow mass air sensor and elbow, 75mm throttle body and a trick flow street heat intake would it be worth it or is it overkill on a stock motor and heads

I think it would make a big difference. I mean regardles MORE AIR MEANS MORE POWER and even the stock heads wont restrict as much air as we think it does. Now if your building a straight track car of course you would do heads because you would want maximum air flow no matter what, but for the street i think that would be a hell of a setup no matter what!

Ya but air and fuel make horsepower, and we are not talking about a crazy HP gain but we are talking about some. The more air you can get in the engine has to be matched by fuel of course. That makes horse power. regardless. Just like turbos, what do they do.... force a huge amount of air that must be matched with a very strong spark and the right amount of gas. Now if we were talking about you having a 800 naturally aspirated engine then there is alot more technical problems to deal with, but that setup sounds good, you have a bigger amount of air volume coming inthat is matched up to more gas. Now where guys mess up at is like just changiing one thing like putting bigger injectors with stock air flow or giving so much air and not enough gas, then you accually loose power, but as long as everything is equal howcould you go wrong? Now if you said you wanted to put 40lb injectors with a 90mm TB and some crazy *** air intakesystem in then of course the heads would have to gobut all your doing is giving the engine more power by gining it a little more air and a litle more fuel. just think 65mm and 75mm sounds like a huge upgrade but go get your tape measure and measure out 10mm...

you would get more performance by waxing your car and that would save you $1000 or so

none of those things will do a single thing for you. if anything...you'll be slower since you'll lose air velocity

you do not lack any of the things your looking to add....you don't need fuel or non-forced air until you hit about 300+ hp
